The problem we're solving

Educating Nigeria for the digital economy.

Nigeria's education system was built for a different economy. Many students study physics, mathematics, and computing as abstract classroom subjects without seeing how those ideas power the digital products shaping modern life.

By 2030, Nigeria will need approximately 28 million digitally skilled workers. Yet many capable young people leave school without the practical skills, confidence, or creative experience to fill those roles—or create new ones.

  • Outdated curricula built for yesterday
  • Too little connection between theory and technology
  • Graduates without practical digital skills or creative confidence

How Algollam closes the gap

From classroom theory to skills that ship.

Unlike short-term bootcamps, our model gives learners the time, mentorship, and practice to build genuine mastery—from mathematics and physics to software that ships.

  1. 01

    Depth over breadth

Years of growth and mastery, not days of surface-level training.

  2. 02

    Mentorship that matters

Learn with guidance from working engineers and founders.

  3. 03

    Make real things

Use what you learn to create products that solve real problems.

  4. 04

Grow alongside a connected community of young builders.

What you'll learn

Six pillars of digital mastery

Every skill is taught through real projects. Students graduate with a portfolio, not just a certificate.

  • Digital Literacy

Navigate the modern digital landscape: tools, platforms, and professional workflows.

    Foundation

Write real code. Build, test, and ship software that solves actual problems.

    Core
  • Problem-Solving

Make maths and physics intuitive through game development, simulation, and engineering challenges.

    Core
  • Collaboration

Practice agile teamwork, sprint cycles, presentations, and technical communication.

    Interpersonal
  • Content Creation

Tell stories through digital media, video, design, and writing with lasting impact.

    Creative
  • Entrepreneurship

Validate ideas, pitch to stakeholders, and build to become a job creator, not a job seeker.

    Leadership

Why Algollam

Not another course.A transformation.

  • Depth, Not Shortcuts

Three years isn't accidental. Real competence takes time, repetition, and progressive challenge. ALGOLLAM is built around depth, not surface-level exposure.

  • Mentorship From Industry

Students are guided by practicing engineers, designers, product managers, and entrepreneurs who bring the real world directly into the learning environment.

  • Globally Relevant Skills

Every skill, project, and framework is chosen to meet global standards. Graduates are competitive internationally, not just locally.

  • Project-Based Mastery

Students learn by building. Every concept is immediately applied, helping knowledge stick and translate directly into capability.

  • Collaboration First

Digital work is team work. Collaboration, communication, leadership, and team dynamics are embedded into every stage of the programme.

  • A Pipeline, Not a Course

ALGOLLAM is a talent pipeline connecting Nigeria and the UK's brightest young builders to a global community of innovators.

The three-year journey

A structured path from learner to innovator.

Each year builds on the last—foundations, shipping, launching.

Year 1 · From curious to capable

Foundation

Connect academic knowledge with digital creation. Students move from complete beginners to confident builders, shipping their first digital product and learning how a team works.

  • Digital literacy and computer science fundamentals
  • Introduction to web development: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Python, algorithms, and programming logic
  • Mathematics through game mechanics and code
  • Design thinking, problem-solving, and agile team basics
  • First collaborative project: a personal portfolio website

Skills You'll Develop

Built to thrive in a digital world.

ALGOLLAM teaches the full stack of capabilities required for the modern digital economy — technical, creative, and human.

  • Software Engineering

Write real code. Build real products. Ship real software.

  • Computational Thinking

Break any problem into solvable, logical components.

  • Digital Design & Creation

Visual thinking, UI/UX principles, and creative production.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork

Work cross-functionally like a real digital studio.

  • Communication & Presentation

Pitch ideas, explain systems, and lead conversations.

  • Innovation & Entrepreneurship

Identify problems and build ventures that solve them.

  • Data Literacy

Read, interpret, and use data to make smarter decisions.

  • Digital Leadership

Lead teams and projects in a fast-moving global economy.

Classroom Meets Creation

Every formula has a product behind it.

ALGOLLAM connects the mathematics, physics, and sciences students study in school directly to the digital products those concepts power.

  • TrigonometryGame Development

Sine and cosine waves power character movement, rotation, and physics in every 2D and 3D game ever built.

  • MatricesComputer Vision & 3D Graphics

Matrix multiplication is the mathematical engine behind 3D transformations, image processing, and AI perception.

  • VectorsPhysics Simulations

Velocity, force, and direction — the vector concepts from Physics class are directly coded into game engines and simulation tools.

  • ProbabilityMachine Learning

The probability distributions and statistics from school mathematics are the exact foundation of AI decision-making and prediction.

  • Optics & LightRendering & Digital Art

Light, reflection, and refraction — the physics of optics directly inform how computers render realistic lighting in games and films.

  • AlgebraAlgorithms & Logic

Every conditional, loop, and function in programming is applied algebra. The abstraction skills learned in maths class become code.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know.

ALGOLLAM is built for secondary school students, particularly those in SSS 1 to SSS 3 (or equivalent Year 10 to Year 13 in the UK). The standard pace is 15 sessions, so students will start the programme before sitting exams and complete the full programme before sitting exams. Students with curiosity, creativity, and a desire to learn — no prior coding or coding experience is required.

Every student ships a working digital product — a web app, mobile prototype, or data-driven tool — that solves a real problem they care about. Projects are presented at a live Demo Day in front of peers, mentors, and invited guests.

Most bootcamps focus narrowly on syntax. ALGOLLAM teaches the full product mindset: problem discovery, design thinking, building, testing, and shipping. Students also earn Points, Badges, and Ranks as they progress — making learning feel more like a game than a chore.

No. While the programme is rooted in Nigerian tech education, we welcome high school students globally. Our cohorts include students from the UK and across Africa, and all learning content is accessible online.

Applications open each term. You can apply directly from the Enrol section on this page. Once your application is reviewed and payment confirmed, you will receive full access to the student dashboard and your cohort workspace.

Yes — all live sessions are scheduled after school hours (typically 4 pm–6 pm WAT / BST) so students never have to choose between the programme and their academic commitments. Recorded lessons are also available for flexible catch-up.

None. We start from absolute zero. If your child can send a WhatsApp message and use a smartphone or laptop, they have everything they need to begin. Curiosity and commitment matter far more than prior technical knowledge.
